The writer of this book seems to have the compassion, insight and wisdom to write a compelling narrative that would support the reader through their times of separation from home or self. I have been in that place, and I’m sure such a book would have helped me through.

Emily, this is the work. Creating the strong inner foundations/a sanctuary within and without – to nurture, nourish and support our relationships with ourselves and the world. May your book be a beautiful blessing, a heartful inspiration and treasured gift to all who read it ?

Fantastic topic. Very timely topic.
I was deeply moved by reading this book proposal. I have recently got to know Emily Rooney personally and have felt her passion for service and empowerment of others. Knowing Emily, this book will come deeply from her heart. Emily is a perfect addition to the Hayhouse family of heart felt, life transforming authors and teachers. This book will transform the lives of millions who feel that they have lost all on a physical level and need their souls to be comforted with the knowledge to understand that these losses are an experience to grow from. Emily can show the road to recovery from her own personal experience of loss and recovery and years of walking her talk as a healer, counsellor, coach and teacher.
I can’t recommend this story highly enough ? the fires in Canberra were devastating, hundreds of people lost their homes and a lifetime of memories ? a book like this is inspirational!
brilliant and generous of heart and soul, thank you Emily for the gift that you and this book will bring to many as difficult times are being faced, great work & well done!
This really resonates with me. There were floods in my town in 2009 – in Cockermouth, the Lake District (UK), lots of people were suddenly homeless, they had homes but they were unliveable… And current economics is making lots of people homeless. And myself, I’ve been moving around a lot over the last 2 years… Strange times. this book is needed now more than ever…:)
Wow great stuff Emily Rooney this story is a very important one.
Great idea, home is where healing takes place, according to Maslow, the second hierarchy of need, safety and property. Go for it Emily.
Sounds like a wonderful book , Emily!
This is a remarkable book idea! I’ve worked as a physical therapist in an assisted/nursing home and the greatest common denominator among the residents and patients is that they want to go “Home”. How wonderful to teach people that Home is within us. That we can carry that sense of comfort and safety no matter where we may be. This book is important. Very timely in so many ways!
Important words. To say and to be heard. xx
What an amazing concept to help us redefine and anchor the importance of ‘sacred space’ in increasingly pressing times. I truly cannot WAIT to read this book Emily. You have already taught and inspired me and those around us so much just with your knowledge, presence and grace.
Important piece of work. Gennifer loves it too.

Your a strong woman Em, you should be very proud of yourself..
I am very touched by this subject as I have faced homelessness more than once in recent years and have found that home is where the heart(love) is , it is more than just bricks and mortar!!!!When life throws you lemons, make lemonade!!! 🙂
I can feel your heart reaching out and opening up to all those who need it. Congratulations well done look forward to reading it. Love L

I really look forward to reading this book! Emily Rooney has worked her feng shui magic in my life with really POWERFUL results. Having seen her working, I know this book will be a wealth of knowlege not only covering off her very interesting experiences with homelessness (and don’t we all relate?!) but it will be a wonderful handbook for creating a wonderful home where ever you are. I’m so pleased to see such an original book idea, congrats Emily! xxx
The whole concept of home is so relevant, never more so than now.
Great original idea! Hope this book wins 🙂
I just love this!
What a beautiful idea for a book! Homelessness can be akin to soulnesses. Yes, the insecurities of our present outer world challenge us to find “home” within, as it is written here. I greatly look forward to the publication of this book! Beautiful and timely for so many!
Truly inspirational Emily! Unveiling the layers of what a ‘home’ can mean and offering practical support and guidance to coming ‘back home’. Bless you for sharing this gift from your heart with humanity ?
I really love this idea. It comes from personal experience of adversity and is very poignant and inspirational. Gets my vote!
One of my earliest memories is of my Nan throwing us in a bath and covering us with wet towels. She was babysitting us. The sprinkler on the roof. The smell of thick smoke. Wanting my Mum there. Fear that she might not come back. All of that… and darkness. Ash Wednesday 1983, I was 5 and we were on the outskirts of Melbourne in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. Thankfully our house was spared and my parent came back safe and sound. The smell of bushfire still makes me feel sick to my stomach. Really looking forward to reading this book! Besides my connection with bushfire I also really resonate with the idea of home being within.
Em’s awesome!!! – love it
brilliant concept and cant wait to read it! Well done Emily!
we all need this kind of inspiration and power!
Beautiful proposal…!
