Suddenly Homeless is dedicated to providing free resources to assist people rebuilding their lives and homes after disaster.

We do:

  • Provide resources, insights and inspiration based on personal experience.
  • Encourage connection between disaster and home loss survivors.
  • Create projects for the wider community to support disaster and home loss survivors.
  • Increase awareness about the impact of trauma, grief and loss associated with disaster and home loss.

We do NOT:

  • Attempt to replicate the incredible support and resources already provided by well established organisations and charities (see resources for links).
  • Accept or distribute food or clothing or furniture.
  • Provide accommodation or support to those experiencing homelessness.
  • Provide anything intended to be a substitute for professional psychological, psychiatric or medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
